The residents had an eventful day full of beautiful music from Brit Bonshor (a local musician from Langley), a fun guessing game of old photos of the residents from their earlier years and lots of treats and fun!

The residents have been preparing for Fat Tuesday on February 21st. This past Monday they got in the spirit and prepared some masks for the festive celebration.

We will be having a fantastic entertainer in addition to the fun with the decorations that we have put together, next Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the Tea Room.

Our residents had been hard a work for weeks; knitting beautiful blankets, baking their famous breads and cooking delicious cookies and after all their hard work, it all paid off. We were stunned by a very pleasant turn out; the residents ended up raising $750.00.
We will be presenting this donation to Theresa of Cythera House on Friday, December 16th, during a presentation that she will be holding on our premises (which the public is welcome to).
